Frequently Asked Questions
These are some of our most common questions. If you do not see an asnwer please contact us for further support.
How will my child benefit from the program?
Your child will gain essential social, emotional, and cognitive skills in a nurturing, play-based environment. Through hands-on activities and group play, they will build confidence, learn to communicate, and develop a love for learning that supports future success. Our individual activities will prepare them for an easy school transition.
How is this different from a play group?
Our program is thoughtfully designed to support whole-child development, combining play-based learning with activities that nurture social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. We create a community where children thrive, parents feel supported, and every experience is a step toward lifelong learning. Our Parent Educators carefully select individual activities based on your child's development that will support their school readiness and educational career. Unlike a typical play group, the program offers a high-quality, culturally enriched environment focused on fostering each child's unique potential.
How much do you charge per class and why are they in a subscription?
Our program and curriculum is designed to take you and your child on a learning journey that progresses the longer you engage in the program. The longer you stay engage the more prepared you and your child will be.

Our tuition includes a registration fee, and tuition for the entire program. You can pay the entire amount upfront or enroll on the payment plan as described during enrollment. We make payment plans that are convenient for caregivers. We have a uniform payment each month that does not fluctuate.
Can we try out a class before commiting?
El Carrusel Educativo does not offer trial classes at this time. Part of the reason is because during the first few weeks of class Parent Educators must establish class routines, culture, and expectations. The Parent Educators work hard to build relationships to better support your child. You're invited to try out some of our other one off courses to experience our practices.
Program mentions that it's for children 0-3 how do you handle the different ages in groups?
We embrace a mixed-age model that allows children to learn and grow together in a natural, community-like environment. Younger children benefit from observing and interacting with older peers, which encourage social and leadership skills as they guide and support their younger friends. Our team carefully tailors activities to suit a range of developmental stages, ensuring every child is challenged, engaged, and nurtured in a way that meets their unique needs.
My child is on the waitlist. What should I do?
Some programs may have a wait list. We know it can be tough to wait, and we appreciate your patience! Our team is working to accommodate as many families as possible, and we'll keep you updated on any openings. In the meantime feel free to check out some of other services.
Can I cancel my classes?
We understand that schedules and circumstances can change. Please review our cancelation policy.
Who will my child and I be working with?
You will be working with educators who are specially trained in early childhood education. They all hold state recognized certifications and have a focus on working with young children, so they understand the best ways to support learning and development in a fun, nurturing environment.
Do I have to be with my child for the two hour sessions? Can I send someone else?
Yes, caregivers are required to stay for the full two-hour sessions, as our program is designed to be a shared experience for both child and parent (or caregiver). If you can't attend, you're welcome to send a trusted family member or friend in your place to participate with your child.
What does each session look like?
Each session offers a blend of structure and free activities that encourage children to explore, create, and connect. We start with a welcoming activity to build a sense of community, followed by engaging activities that support growth in a fun, playful environment. Each session wraps up with a closing routine, helping children feel secure and ready for preschool transitions in the future.
